iDINKRA News · Regular reporting
Market updates, analysis, briefs, and trade and regulatory reporting for the Ghanaian and African diaspora in Britain.
Meet the Founder
An Oxford-based Ghanaian trade policy expert and market analyst, George founded iDINKRA Market to help African enterprise become easier to discover, trust and support in the UK.
Continue readingWe've matched the business against Companies House, or Ghana's Office of the Registrar of Companies, and confirmed the name and number are real.
Registration, plus proof of trading address and a live video call where we've seen the work or the stock for ourselves. Rechecked every twelve months.
For cosmetics: we've seen a named UK Responsible Person, a product safety assessment, and evidence the product has been notified to OPSS before sale.
iDINKRA Market is not a regulator and does not approve products. Our badges record what documents a business has shown us and when. Legal responsibility for a product's safety and compliance rests with the business selling it.
We check that a business is real. We can't watch every transaction, so a few habits protect you:
Every business sets its own delivery. The card tells you where they're based and how quickly they usually dispatch.
UK-based businesses typically post within two working days. Businesses shipping from Ghana take longer, and customs can add time. Ask before you order if a date matters.
Delivery, damage and returns are matters between you and the business. Agree them upfront.
Tell us if a business misled you, took payment and didn't deliver, stopped replying, or is selling something it shouldn't.
We investigate every report. A business can have its badge removed or be taken off the site entirely.
iDINKRA Market exists because too many good Ghanaian and African businesses are invisible online, and too many buyers have been burned by pages that vanish.
We're a discovery platform, not a shop. We check businesses by hand, list them properly, and put you in touch. We take no commission and no payment.
